For Cocktail:

1oz lemon

1oz vanilla syrup

Fevertree grapefruit soda

grapefruit wedge for garnish

For Syrup:

2 cups of sugar

1 vanilla bean

1 cup boiling water

For Vanilla Syrup:

Stir sugar and split open vanilla bean into the boiling water. Allow to cool, and give a good shake to break up vanilla.

For Cocktail:

Add lemon and vanilla syrup to wine glass, top with grapefruit soda, and give a gentle stir. Garnish with fresh grapefruit on the rim.

Add all ingredients to a shaker; shake well over ice. Strain over fresh ice in a collins glass, and top with club soda.

Simple Syrup: dissolve 2 cups of sugar into 1 cup of boiling water. Let cool.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 ounces of Evan Williams Bourbon
  • 1/2 ounce Deme/Lux Syrup*
  • 3 dashes of Angostura
  • 3 dashes of Regan’s Orange #6

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into chilled glass with a large lump of ice. Garnish with an orange peel.

*Deme/Lux Syrup: 1 part Luxardo cherry brine to 3 parts demerara syrup

INGREDIENTS

  • 1⁄2 oz. simple syrup
  • 3⁄4 oz. lime juice
  • 11⁄2 oz. Stolichnaya vodka
  • 4-5 mint leaves, torn
  • 1 Tsp. Morello cherry puree
  • Sparkling wine, to top

Combine all ingredients, except wine and cherry puree, in a Boston shaker. Spoon puree in to the bottom of the glass. Add ice to shaker and shake vigorously. Strain carefully over cherry puree so as not to disturb, floating on top of puree. Top with sparkling wine, making drink change from green to red.
